Hell Week and...Nick Johnson left his underwear on the floor in my family room.

This week is going to straight suck ass. If all goes accordingly, I will be working about 65 hours this week. Essentially it will be 9 AM to 9 PM everyday. This marks my first experience of having a co-worker fired while I'm around, and it was definetly a fascinating experience. Much of this week will be me filling the gaps from having one of the more senior swim instructors failed basically for being a drama queen.

Today was great. Nick, Chris L, Ethan, Matt, Jake, Ben, Anay, and Alex all came over for a "pool party." Cherry coke....trampolines...dolphins. Not really.

I'm glad everyone emerged relatively unscathed from the events in the pool, everyone except about 4 popped pool toys, a testament to the ferocity of the "swimming" that occurred. Burgers and hot dogs followed by root beer floats turned out to be a perfect combination when you throw in a pool, some basketball, and hot weather. We'll have to do it again.

Oh Nick left his underwear on the floor in my family room, theyre still lying there. Even the dog wont touch it... Its made that room feel not so family oriented anymore. They'll be there next time you come nicky:)

Today was punctuated by the news that George Hincapie had won his first tour de france stage in his 10 years since first starting the race. Wooohooo. I have the tape of the stage, and it is one I will hold on to for a while!

George got in a breakaway so that if he needed to help Lance he could drift back and be there for him. But the breakaway gained about 20 minutes on Lance and the peleton and Lance needed no help so he told George to go for the win, and boy did he ever. He dusted away all the other breakaway companions on the final climb, and won the hardest mountain stage of this year's tour by 6 seconds over the next rider, and over 5 minutes ahead of Lance!

fuck nick's underoos and seth's sister. this post is all about HINCAPIE.

i woke up this morning to see our hero on the cover of the newspaper. i'm so happy for him and the whole discovery channel team. if lance is michael jordan than hincapie is his scottie pippen. keep that tape cuz you know i want to watch it.

i was speechless, i don't even understand how he could have felt. to be #1 domestique for all those years and now this. oh man, my whole family was smiling and clapping at the tv on sunday.

Bob Roll is the man. I think he can be really stupid, but I find it endearing. But yeah, I think some really good commentators other than Ligget and Sherwen are definetly needed.
